Merchandise Planning and Assortment Management solutions have a very checkered history for implementation success. Projects have a habit of under delivering in terms of capabilities, while growing in duration and budget. We believe in tight project management, but more importantly that planners need to see their ultimate application as part of the design cycle. Accordingly our delivery methodology calls for the early delivery of a “wireframe” or prototype application to insure that the application design is spot on and that there is little left to the imagination. Expect a sign off wireframe within about 30 days of the start of your project. Plan to start Planning about 90 days later.
